Although Tiznit is clearly atlantic, it also displays surprising ramparts which protect the city's treasures. Diving in the Moroccan Anti-Atlas is like living in harmony with the souks before eventually explorating Ida Oussmlale and Tahala. If you do so, you will enter somptuous green canyons sharply cut from the rock. The plateaux won't disappoint you either. In Aday, a few kilometers from Tafraout, houses flirt with cliffs and round creeks about to fall. Tafraout itself is set deep inside a cirque of pink granit. All around, stones and rocks coil and uncoil like a snake. You will even see their colors change according to the sky. If you venture towards Aguerd Oudad, be ready to witness another change in colors, passing from pink to red, blue and then black. The desert is the only element to never change: like a magic sight, it is still waiting patiently at the foot-hills of the gigantic Atlas. Click on a picture to enlarge
