    OFF THE BEATEN TRACK: THE PALM TREE ROAD  
     
    For those who like camping, the chance of an unforgettable trip across the Atlas mountains and the pre-Sahara region. Designed for people with a sense of team spirit and physically fit. 7 nights and 8 nights full board, in land rovers. Bring light luggage and sportswear.  

    Day 1: Marrakech 
    Arrival, reception, transfer to the hotel. 
    Dinner and overnight stay. 

    Day 2 : Marrakech-Ouarzazate- Agdz 
    Breakfast, departure for the Drâa Valley via Ouarzazate. 
    Free for lunch. 
    Departure for Agdz. Bivouac in the Oasis. 
    Dinner. 

    Day 3: Agdz- Zagora- Tazarine 
    Breakfast then departure for Tazarine. 
    After lunch in Tamgrout, the road climbs noticeably to the north-east, in a desert landscape. 
    Arrival in Tazarine in the heart of an oasis south of Djebel Saghro . 
    This region is well-known for its rock carvings, some of which date back to early 2000 BC. 
    Bivouac and dinner.

    Day 4 : Tazarine- Tinghir 
    Heading south in the morning to N´kob. 
    Then the track becomes more difficult. 
    Over the Tizi´n Tazazert Pass at 2200m and descent to Iknioun, then on to Tineghir, a large settlement and former military post at the entrance to magnificent palm groves and dominated by an imposing Kasbah. 
    Picnic lunch. 
    Dinner and overnight at the hotel. 

    Day 5 : Tineghir- Imilchil. 
    Breakfast, then departure for the Todra Gorges by a track to the north of Tineghir. After a surfaced stretch , the track continues through the most impressive part of the gorges, a transverse valley some twenty meters wide. 
    After the village of Tamtatouche, by track 3445 towards Agoudal to the heart of the High Atlas in Imilchil, a village known for its Fiancees moussem (festival). 
    Bivouac and dinner. 

    Day 6 : Imilchil- Boumalne- Ek Kelaa- Ouarzazate Descent to Boulmane going back through Agoudal and along the Dades Gorges, then across the Tizin Ouano Pass (2800m) with a stop and a short walk to discover the surprising scenery of these gorges which are real canyons of great beauty. Through Boulmane and on to El Kelaa , a small town well-known for its rose water and rose gardens. 

    Day 7 : Ouarzazate- Marrakech 
    Departure in the morning by the High Atlas road for Marrakech through the Tizin´Tichka Pass (2800m). 
    Lunch at the hotel. 
    Afternoon sightseeing in town : the Menara gardens, Majorelle , Agdal ,the souks and Jemaa El Fna where life never stops, with acrobats, storytellers and snake charmers. 
    Traditional dinner and overnight at the hotel. 

    Day 8: Marrakech 
    After breakfast, transfer to the airport and goodbye.
